L-mail® is a desktop/laptop based system that uses
proprietary copyrighted software technology that revolutionizes the mail
processing, sorting, and delivery systems. Due to the software design
and the strategically placed network of digital printing and finishing

Joe Portale, President:
Joe is an experienced businessman, speaker and motivator. He has served
as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alloy Technologies Inc.; a metallurgical
patent-holding division of a NYSE listed company, Chromealloy Corporation.
Prior to his election to the Board of Directors and then Chairman of the
Board, Joe served as Director of the Finance Committee for ATI. The company
engaged both union and non-union employees, as well as a research and development
team. The ATI facilities were located on 29 prime acres in Nyack, NY.
In addition, Joe co-founded with Don Schwirtlich, Fine-Dent Data Systems,
Inc., a software company that designed, created, and supported a leading
edge premiere business and financial software package for the dental industry.
These systems sold in the continental United States, Alaska, and Australia.
During his 20 years with FDDS, Joe’s responsibilities included corporate
development, sales seminars and demonstrations, hard and software configuration
requirements, pricing, on-site training, and customer service development.
Joe also maintains a dental practice and software development and testing
facility in Ridgefield, NJ.
Don Schwirtlich, Director and Chief Software Engineer:
Don has specialized in designing financial and management software systems.
He has performed complex white paper studies for a large national corporation
involved in the retail grocery chain. He designed and wrote the first
truly paperless healthcare office management program, writing his FINECS©
configurable accounting system in the early 80's. Recognizing the
widespread pre-Internet use of electronic data transfer, Don was instrumental
in the field of data compression. He designed and utilized effective data
compression formulas that predated PKZIP and other popular data storage
routines.
Don has also designed certain advanced financial planning formulas,
developing the 'real-life' method of testing financial planning scenarios,
incorporating the Monte-Carlo and stochastic testing methodologies now
in use in over 600,000 installations across North America. He worked closely
with world renown Dr. Harry Markowitz, Nobel Laureate in Economics.
He presented this work to the National Association of Financial Planners.
Included on the list of clients served Don are such notables as Harley-Davidson,
Deere & Co, Hewlett-Packard, 3M, Toyota, Advance Auto Parts, and Cox
Communications.
Phil Godwin, Sales Director:
has 22 years experience in business involving retail sales. His focus
has been in sales consulting for perishable food manufacturers and supply
chain software. Phil was a senior partner in Godwin Associates, a
$30 million per year, international sales brokerage company in the confectionary
industry. He managed and represented multiple manufacturers to the
retail outlets such as K-mart, Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreen, Rite-Aid, Family
Dollar, General Dollar, and several other chains.
Phil has developed, marketed, and sold software (Kenray Software Solutions)
to manage the supply chain used by national manufacturers, brokers, distributors
and customers. Phil’s responsibilities also included installation,
training, and technical support for this software.
